Partridge Lakes in Culcheth, near Warrington, has launched fresh activities and facilities for all ages, including themed pedalos, a lakeside walk, and a sandy beach. Barbara Ikin and Callum Morgan, owners of Partridge Lakes, said: "We’ve enjoyed a great start to the year, and the lakes are currently looking absolutely stunning in the spring sunshine. The highlight of the new offering is the Partridge Park Walk, a 1km lakeside trail designed to be fully accessible for wheelchairs and prams. The route features benches, picnic benches, and play installations, including giant games of Connect 4 and Kerplunk. Pedalos cost £15 for a 20-minute session and can be booked through the Partridge Lakes website. Alongside the pedalos and park walk, guests can relax on a newly created sandy beach or explore the refreshed seating areas and additional food and drink outlets. Alongside the Partridge Lakes Café, there are new refreshment outlets (Image: David Munn Photography) The new lakeside outdoor seating area includes new refreshment huts, with all facilities designed to make the most of the lakeside setting. The Partridge Lakes Café remains a central feature of the site and is open daily from 7.30am to 4.30pm. It is dog-friendly and offers treats for pets, as well as food for feeding the fish and ducks. The new attractions build on the success of Partridge Lakes’ recent Springland event, a seasonal fairytale experience for families. New additions include a bar serving alcoholic beverages (Image: David Munn Photography) This summer, the venue will also host the Cheshire Wellness Festival on Sunday, June 28. The festival promises to be bigger, more beautiful and more transformative than ever in a day to pause, reset and reconnect. Ms Ikin and Mr Morgan said: "We’ve worked hard to develop an exciting range of additional attractions and facilities for 2026 including a lovely new Partridge Park trail, additional refreshment outlets on site to complement the hugely popular Partridge Lakes Café, all with an unmatched lakeside setting and tempting treats, and not forgetting our new fleet of colourful pedalos which will be available for hire over the summer months." The Partridge Park Walk is open daily from 7.30am to 5pm, and the café operates every day, including bank holidays. Pedalos run from 10am to 2pm on selected dates, and all bookings must be made online through the Partridge Lakes Events website.
