Culcheth, Warrington, United Kingdom Weather Forecast - AccuWeather

Culcheth is getting a pleasantly civilised day: 22°C, less humidity and some cloud. Enjoy it, because Monday night into Tuesday looks showery.

Culcheth is being treated to one of those rare British weather days where nobody needs to mutter darkly at the sky before leaving the house. Today, Sunday 28 June, is forecast to be pleasant and less humid, with a mix of sunshine and cloud, reaching a high of 22°C before dipping to 12°C overnight.

At 11:02am, conditions were mostly cloudy at 18°C, with a RealFeel of 18°C and a RealFeel Shade temperature of 16°C. The wind is coming from the south-west at 20 km/h, with gusts up to 41 km/h, so yes, your garden chair may still attempt a small escape if you have not pinned it down like it owes you money.

The best bit? Air quality is listed as excellent, which is lovely news for anyone planning a walk, a bit of gardening, or a smug cup of tea outside. Pollen levels are mostly low, though mould is moderate, because apparently the weather cannot simply be nice without adding one mildly irritating footnote.

The hourly forecast is behaving itself rather well. From midday through late evening, temperatures sit around 21°C to 22°C in the afternoon, easing down to 15°C by 11pm, with a 0% chance of rain for most of the day. Frankly, that is suspiciously generous by Warrington standards.

Looking ahead, Monday 29 June should be partly sunny and pleasant at 23°C, though there may be a shower in spots overnight. Tuesday 30 June is more unsettled, with a 62% chance of showers and another possible evening shower. In other words, Monday evening through Tuesday evening is when the weather remembers it is British and starts behaving accordingly.

Wednesday 1 July looks rather cloudy with a high of 21°C and a few showers possible overnight. Thursday brings winds becoming strong, with early windiness and a high of 20°C. Not exactly beach weather, unless your idea of beach weather involves chasing napkins across a car park.

There is better news after that. Friday 3 July brings sunshine and a steady breeze at 21°C, Saturday 4 July looks sunny at 23°C, and Monday 6 July is expected to be sunny and warm at 24°C. Tuesday 7 July could climb to 27°C, which in Culcheth terms means half the village will declare it unbearable while still refusing to come indoors.

One little gripe: the Culcheth weather radar is listed as temporarily unavailable. Not ideal, really. If we are being promised “Superior Accuracy”, a working radar would be a splendid place to start. Still, the forecast itself gives us enough to work with: a decent day today, a wetter wobble early in the week, then a respectable stretch of summer weather.

Sunrise is at 4:44am and sunset at 9:43pm, giving us 16 hours and 59 minutes of daylight. That is plenty of time for Culcheth to enjoy the sunshine, complain about the breeze, check the sky suspiciously, and then do it all again tomorrow.
